- Full name, email address, telephone number and customer financial information, where a booking is made.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to enable Cottage information to be issued directly, plus invoices.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- Information may be received from external Holiday Booking Agents and from SuperControl (booking software used to aid the administration of the bookings).
- We use the information that you have given us in order to process the individual booking.
- We may share certain information, such as your name, with other parties, such as the cleaning company, who clean the cottage at changeover dates.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting the cottage owner – Jacquie Quin – but your booking will have to be cancelled if this is prior to your stay.
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep your name, address, contact number and email address for 7 years. We will then dispose your information by shredding all relevant paperwork; and permanently delete information from our PC hard drive.
